The SUV was available in two variants - Feel and Shine priced at Rs 36.91 lakh and 39.9 lakh, respectively ex-showroom. The flagship SUV is now only offered in top-spec Shine trim. The base-spec Feel trim lacked features like a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, wireless phone charger, traction control, hill-descent control, and offered a smaller infotainment touchscreen along with different upholstery, which likely contributed to its low sales and the decision to discontinue the variant.

Citroen will continue to offer the top-spec shine trim which gets features such as 10-inch infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, powered driver seat, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, hands-free tailgate opening, hands-free parking, six airbags, ESC and traction control.

Talking about the engine and gearbox, the C5 Aircross is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel which puts out 177hp and 400Nm of peak torque and comes paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The SUV has claimed a fuel efficiency of 17.5kpl. The C5 Aircross competes with VW Taigun, Hyundai Tucson, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian and other similarly priced SUVs in the Indian market.
