Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the 4th-generation Dzire, India’s favourite compact sedan, with prices starting at Rs 6.79 lakh. Renowned for its reliability and exceptional fuel efficiency, the new Dzire is a strong competitor in the sub-4m sedan segment. The new Dzire 2024 model combines cutting-edge technology, improved safety, and a modern design to redefine the compact sedan segment.

Building on a legacy of over 2.7 million units sold, the latest model brings a refreshed European-inspired design, higher safety ratings, and upgraded features. Notably, it now has a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, addressing past safety concerns. Available in multiple variants, the Dzire offers petrol, CNG, manual, and automatic transmission options.

The new Dzire’s pricing ranges from Rs 6.79 lakh to Rs 10.14 lakh (ex-showroom), with CNG variants priced at Rs 8.74 lakh and Rs 9.74 lakh. For added accessibility, Maruti is also offering a subscription plan starting at Rs 18,248 per month.

Interior features

The Dzire’s cabin is inspired by the Swift, featuring lighter beige tones and textured accents for an upscale look. New interior highlights include an electric sunroof and a 360-degree camera. The spacious 382-litre trunk adds extra convenience. Safety upgrades include ABS with EBD, six airbags, hill-hold assist, ESP, traction control, reverse parking sensors, and seatbelt reminders.

Advanced technology is a highlight, with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, keyless entry, and a 360-degree camera. The 2024 Dzire is available in seven colours: Gallant Red, Nutmeg Brown, Alluring Blue, Bluish Black, Magma Grey, Arctic White, and Splendid Silver. Additionally, customers can also personalize their Dzire with exclusive Chromico and Copperico accessory packs, catering to individual tastes.

Exterior features

Built on the updated Heartect platform, the new Dzire showcases a modern front and rear bumper design, a bold grille with horizontal slats, and sleek LED headlamps. Dual-tone alloy wheels in silver and black enhance its sporty look, while rear LED taillights with Y-shaped inserts and a chrome-accented boot lid provide a unique, sophisticated touch.

Accessories such as a 9-inch floating touchscreen, wireless phone charger, rear AC vents, C-type charging ports, and an electric sunroof add further convenience and style to the vehicle. Pricing details for the accessory packs are yet to be disclosed.
