Mothers are superwomen, and we pick out one day in the year to honour their commitment, love and affection. The bond that children share with their mother is often too deep to be put into words. It’s a full time job, and we try to show our reverence to their umpteen sacrifices through gestures small and big.
In the honour of Mother’s Day, The Smithsonian’s National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute went a little offbeat and released beautiful snapshots of the bond in the animal kingdom.
