Where is the national outrage? Where are the candle marches? Where are the activists who claim to fight for justice? Nowhere. Why?

An ex-Merchant Navy officer, Saurabh was working in London and had come to India to celebrate his 6-year-old daughter’s birthday. But instead of a celebration, his homecoming turned into a murder scene, planned and executed by the very woman who vowed to stand by him, his wife, Muskan, along with her lover.

Both Muskan and her lover have been arrested. But what shocked me the most was my meeting with Muskan’s parents. In an unexpected admission, they said, “Saurabh was killed by our daughter. She was always wrong, and we supported her in all her wrongdoings. But we never knew she would go so far as to kill her own husband for her lust.”

They even demanded the death penalty for her. I looked them in the eye and asked. Is this demand just for the media, or will you stand by it in the courtroom too? Time will tell if they truly seek justice or if their statement was just for damage control.

But beyond justice for Saurabh, there’s another burning question, what about his 6-year-old daughter? She has lost her father to murder, and her mother is behind bars. What is her future? Who will raise her with love and care? Will she grow up knowing the truth, or will the system rewrite the narrative to protect the guilty once again?

Saurabh’s murder is not just a crime, it is a mirror to a society that refuses to acknowledge male victims. How many more men need to die before we accept that men too deserve justice?
