Partially built car park lift crashes in Vikhroli, 1 dies

Mumbai: A worker died and three others were injured after a portion of an under-construction car parking lift crashed in a residential building in Vikrohli (West), report Richa Pinto & S Ahmed Ali.
The Vikhroli Parksite police have registered an FIR against three officials—project manager, Amit Kumte, Icestone’s official Sunil Tiwari and Gayatri Aluminium’s Umesh Singh alias Rakesh—for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Police said that the deceased, Shivam Jaiswal, 20, was among the three workers who were carrying or setting up the lift when it accidentally fell off.
