While the online scorecards provide immediate insights into subject-wise marks and overall pass/fail status, they are provisional in nature. Students must collect their official marksheets from their respective schools, which will serve as valid documents for further education or admission procedures. Those who feel dissatisfied with their marks will have the opportunity to apply for re-evaluation. The board will release detailed instructions regarding the rechecking process after the results are announced.
The board has seen participation from various categories this year, highlighting the diversity in the candidate pool. In addition to regular students, there were 8,687 private (fresh) candidates, 494 ITI students, 761 students from NSQF subjects, and 481 fresh candidates under the Children With Special Needs (CWSN) category. There were also 359 full repeaters from regular streams and a significant number—7,926—who appeared as regular exempted repeaters, along with smaller groups in other private and exempted categories.
To check their results, students need to visit results.gbshsegoa.net and click on the “Goa Board SSC Result 2025” link. After entering their seat number, school index number, and date of birth, they must complete the captcha verification to access their result. It is recommended that students download or print a copy of their provisional marksheet for immediate reference, while awaiting the final documents from their schools.
