Malur Constituency Election Results: Assembly seat details, MLAs, candidates & more
Malur assembly constituency is one of the 224 constituencies in the Karnataka legislative assembly of southern state of India. It is a part of Kolar Lok Sabha constituency.
The winning party must have 113 seats to form the government in the state out of 224 seats.
In 2018, Malur legislative assembly constituency had total 1,81,112 electors. Total number of valid vote was 1,61,362.
Congress candidate K Y Nanjegowda won and became MLA from this seat. He secured a total of 75,677 votes.
He won the seat by defeating K.s.manjunath Gowda of the Janata Dal (secular) with a margin of 17,915 votes.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate S. Muniswamy won from Kolar Lok Sabha (MP) seat with the margin of 2,10,021 votes by defeating K.h. Muniyappa of the Indian National Congress.
Further back in 2013, Malur legislative assembly constituency had total 1,63,883 electors. Total number of valid vote was 1,43,121.
Janata Dal (secular) candidate K S Manjunathgowda won and became MLA from this seat. He secured a total of 57,645 votes.

In 2023, Malur will witness a contest between J.E. Ramegowda from JD(S) vs K.Y.Nanje Gowda from INC vs KS Manjunath Gowda from BJP. The elections will commence on May 10 and the results will be announced on May 13.The winning party must have 113 seats to form the government in the state out of 224 seats.
