A city pub transformed into a livewire zone of sound and rhythm on Friday night, April 11, as Bengali rock band Lakkhichhara delivered an electrifying performance to a packed house. Part of the venue’s Friday Live series, the gig brought together die-hard fans and casual listeners for a high-energy musical evening.
The band hit the stage at 8:30 PM, performing all of the crowd favourites that kept the audience hooked from the very first note. Known for their signature blend of Bengali lyrics and rock arrangements, Lakkhichhara didn’t miss a beat, setting the tone for a memorable night. A few songs they performed included
Podobi,
Jibon Chaiche Aro Beshi,
Ghete Jachhe, and, of course,
Prithibi Ta Naki.
“Seldom do we play in pubs or nightclubs, so it was a special concert for us. We were thrilled to see everyone singing along and enjoying the music throughout,” said Debaditya Chaudhury, the band’s keyboardist.
Fans swayed and sang along to every song, turning the live set into a collaborative celebration of music. The atmosphere remained electric as the band kept the crowd engaged through the night.
