Sachin Khedekar falls prey to death hoax

Veteran actor Sachin Khedekar has been busy clarifying the rumours about his death for a couple of days now. Since Friday morning, news about the actor being dead in a road accident started making rounds on a social messaging app and shortly it went viral on many platforms.

The actor, who is busy shooting his next, got to know about the same from a friend but even before that, his family and relatives had started getting inquisitive calls.“I was stunned when a friend told me about this news. I could not understand from where all these rumors started coming. My friends, family members and relatives had started getting calls asking about my alleged accident.
When I probed further, I got to know that there was a news about a public servant dying in a road accident telecasted on a Marathi news channel on Sunday night whose name was Sachin Khedekar. Somebody assumed that its me and without enquiring further they made an obituary with a photo of mine and started circulating it on WhatsApp. When people around me were bombarded with phone calls, I also took the help of my social networking site to clear all these death-related rumors,” informed the actor.
