Alia Bhatt, who embraced motherhood in 2022 with the arrival of her daughter Raha Kapoor, recently reflected on the profound lessons she has learned as a mother. In a conversation with Harper’s Bazaar India, the actress shared that the most valuable takeaway has been patience, something she admitted she lacked before. She also highlighted the simplicity of unconditional love, emphasizing how Raha has taught her to be present in the moment rather than constantly planning ahead.
Alia revealed that while adults tend to overthink, children experience life with pure joy and spontaneity. “With her, I’ve learned that sometimes, just being present is enough. She’s not overthinking—she’s just there, ready to give you a hug,” she said, adding that this simplicity has been a major life lesson for her.
Beyond motherhood, Alia also spoke about her future film aspirations, expressing her desire to explore full-fledged comedy and heartwarming love stories. She and
Ranbir Kapoor recently met with paparazzi on March 13, 2025, where they requested media outlets to respect their daughter’s privacy. Ranbir addressed the challenges of protecting Raha from constant media attention, stating, “It might sound like a privileged problem, but as parents, we are trying our best.”
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will reunite for
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, set for a March 20, 2026 release. She also has 'Alpha', a high-octane spy thriller, arriving in December this year.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor’s previous outing was the action drama movie ‘Animal’ which turned out to be a superhit amid controversies due to it’s content. Alia Bhatt’s previous outing was ‘Jigra’.
