BTS star RM, also known as Kim Namjoon, is celebrating his 30th birthday today. To mark the special day, the hunk took to his social media handle to pen a touching message and share unseen photos for ARMY to swoon over.
In keeping with tradition, RM shared a reflective letter marking the milestone, offering his fans both life updates and words of encouragement. In his warm note, he expressed his gratitude for the love and support he has received throughout his career and into his 30s. He began, "Hi. I love you, everyone! I’m 30. (Already...) Even for myself, it’s often nothing to do on this day that I felt sent me a heartfelt congratulatory message. Thank you so much. Thanks to you, I’m holding up well. You know that, right?”
In his letter, RM quoted a Buddhist saying: “You only live on your own as a beacon.” He shared how this phrase has helped guide him through moments of uncertainty, particularly during his military service.
The rapper also gave an update on his time in the military, revealing that he is halfway through his service. Reflecting on his experience, he said, “My military life is now halfway through... After the weather gets warm and cherry blossoms bloom, I’ll come back bravely next time.”
