SM Entertainment’s newly debuted girl group,' Hearts2Hearts' (H2H), has found itself in controversy just days after its official debut on February 24, 2025. One of the group’s members, Ian, is facing serious accusations related to bullying and inappropriate behavior, which have surfaced on social media. Instead of enjoying the excitement of their debut, the group is now dealing with a growing scandal.
According to Koreaboo, an anonymous post appeared online claiming that Ian had a history of school bullying. The post alleged that she was involved in several violent incidents during her school years. One particular incident mentioned was that she once threw a rock at a boy in anger, and another described how she broke a fish tank. The situation reportedly escalated when Ian’s mother intervened. The user claimed that Ian’s mother tried to portray her daughter as a victim by causing a scene at the school and forcing the boy’s mother to make him kneel and apologize.
The accusations did not stop there. The same post alleged that Ian and her group of friends had harassed teachers and spoken badly about them. Additionally, they were accused of hitting a fellow student, with a video of the incident allegedly being briefly uploaded to a school website before it was removed. The writer of the post described Ian as someone whom classmates avoided due to her behavior.
Further claims in the post stated that after Ian left school to become a K-pop trainee, some of her former friends got into trouble for smoking and bullying a younger student. The writer suggested that if Ian had stayed in school, she might have been involved in similar incidents. They also admitted to having personal resentment against Ian but insisted that the claims were true and not exaggerated.
Following the initial post, another person claiming to be Ian’s former classmate came forward to support the allegations. This individual provided pre-debut photos of Ian as proof of knowing her and responded to online users who questioned the claims. They pointed out that during their elementary school years, it was uncommon for children to have mobile phones, which is why there may not be much digital evidence.
As of now, SM Entertainment has not released any official statement regarding these accusations.
