Kailash - Sarayu starrer ‘Uppumaavu’ starts rolling

Malayalam actor Kailas will be teaming up with the actress Sarayu Mohan for his next movie ‘Uppumaavu’ and according to the recent updates, the film started rolling in Kollam, Kerala.

‘Uppumaavu’ is written and directed by Shyam Shivarajan and the cinematography will be done by Madhesh. Sreemankalam Vijayan and Shyam Shivajan will be penning down the screenplay and dialogues of ‘Uppumaavu’ whereas the editing section will be handled by Ryan Titus.

Sibu Sukumaran is in charge of the music department of the film and the lyrics of the songs in the movie will be penned down by Rajan Karthikappally and Faizal Ponnani. Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, Vijesh Gopal, Master Sreehari, and Baby Ananya will be crooning the songs in ‘Uppumaavu’.
Apart from Kailash and Sarayu, ‘Uppumaavu’ also features the actors Shivaji Guruvayoor, Jayashankar, Shaji Mavelikkara, Kollam Sha, Philip Mambadu, Kannan Sagar, Saji Vettikkavala, K Ajith Kumar, Master Aadish, Seema G, Aathira, Moli Kannammali, and several others in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, actor Kailash was last seen playing a pivotal role in the Malayalam thriller movie ‘Night Drive’ which was directed by Vysakh. Actors Roshan Mathew, Indrajith Sukumaran, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and Anna Ben also played significant roles in the film. Kailash also has the films 'Two Men' and 'Professor Dinkan' in the pipeline.
On the other hand, Sarayu Mohan was last seen in the drama movie 'Kakshi: Amminippilla' directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and had the actors Asif Ali, Ahamed Siddique, Fara Shibla, Nirmal Palazhi in pivotal roles. Sarayu also has a hot of projects in the pipeline that includes 'Vidhi', and 'Kunjamminis Hospital'.
