Talented Marathi actor
Vaibhav Mangle, who has worked in films like ‘
Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho
’, ‘
Harishchandrachi Factory
’ and ‘Kaksparsh’, impresses the audience as a witch in Marathi play ‘
Albatya Galbatya
’.
Directed by Chinmay Mandlekar, this play has a lot going for it. Enchanting special effects transport the audiences to a magical world where fantasies seem to come to life. But it is Vaibhav, who is most impressive as a hilarious witch.
The dedicated actor was recently left stranded in Mumbai amidst heavy rains when his play was to be staged at
Shivaji Mandir
Natyagruh. But he walked half the way then hopped into a rickshaw and somehow managed to reach the venue despite a terrible backache, caused by too much strain.
Vaibhav wore a support belt and staged the play, it obviously shows the mettle of the man; a fact that was appreciated by his audience too.
