However, according to PTI sources, the flight had to return because numerous toilets were non-functional.

According to flightradar24.com, the Boeing 777-337 ER aircraft returned to Chicago's ORD airport after being airborne for over ten hours.

The Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, which accommodates more than 340 passengers across first, business and economy classes, is equipped with 10 toilets, including two designated for first-class travellers, according to PTI sources.

The source further revealed that only one toilet remained operational.

"Upon landing at Chicago, all passengers and crew disembarked normally and have been provided with accommodation to minimise inconvenience. Alternative arrangements are being made to fly the passengers to their destination," the spokesperson said in a statement.
