To make the roots grow and for the plant to hold the weight of the growing tomatoes, the pot size should also be good. Get a pot that is 10-12 inches deep and sufficiently wide.

If you have a set 90-day time to grow Cherry tomatoes, the soil needs to be immaculate. Make it a mix of garden soil, sand, cocopeat, and compost, and add some wood chips near the drain holes.

For the ideal conditions for the cherry tomatoes to grow in 90 days, keep them in the spot with the most sunshine. It should get at least 4 hours of sunlight till the germination, and more after the leaves start to double.

The plant mustn't succumb to root rot as it would prevent it from blooming the fruit. So for the initial few days only mist and spray water around the soil, keeping it moist but not watery, and start watering after the first germination.

Once the plant grows to a considerable height, it is important to add a trellis as the fruit is pretty heavy. Just use a small wooden trellis or a bamboo stick to support the plant as it grows and prevent branches from breaking.

Before the plant produces fruit, it will flower, and even before that, it will produce a lot of leaves. Prune the leaves that are turning yellow or black, and also the ones that make the plant or a stem look excessively bushy.

The Cherry tomato plant will start flowering in about 5 to 6 weeks, which is around 35 to 40 days, and the white flowers and golden buds will look beautiful. But soon, these flowers will start to wilt and form into the fruit.

Once the tomatoes begin to bloom, the light green colour will stay for about 15 days after which it will turn red or yellow, depending on the seed type, and they will be ready to pick and harvest.
