Expressing his excitement about the move, Williamson highlighted his admiration for Lord’s and the opportunity to spend time in the UK with his family.
"Our international schedule allows for a bit of a break during the English summer, and I was keen to come over with my family. When this opportunity came up, it was an exciting prospect," Williamson said.
"The Home of Cricket is one of my favourite grounds in the world. I've had so many incredible moments there. Every player holds Lord’s in the highest regard. They’ve maintained the tradition of playing there, which makes it truly unique."
With his wealth of experience and leadership, Williamson's presence is set to be a major boost for both Middlesex and London Spirit in the upcoming season.
