Los Angeles Lakers star
LeBron James seems to be making headlines for too many reasons. Though he continues to remain silent on the controversies surrounding him, his name was recently spotted in some allegedly leaked messages from
Drake. While the truth behind the leaked messages cannot be entirely confirmed, it was enough to ignite fans who believe this is going too far.
Did Drake really make an offensive comment against LeBron James?
LeBron James and singer Drake do not seem to see eye to eye ever since James, the
Los Angeles Lakers forward, started supporting Drake’s rival,
Kendrick Lamar. From sharing his love for Lamar on social media to attending his concerts, James went public with his growing fondness for Lamar, which clearly didn’t sit well with Drake.
Now a leaked message, allegedly sent by Drake to the
GrandWizardChatNigg page, has surfaced online. It read: "N****s out in the first round, nothing left to do but dance." The message was likely Drake’s reaction to James dancing to a Kendrick Lamar track.
Fans react to Drake’s latest leaked message
As the so-called leaked chat went viral, one fan claimed it was artificially generated. A different X account also claimed that the DMs, as well as all related content, were now deleted, with the page owner asserting that the account had been hacked. One X user called the entire episode “crazy, scary, spooky, hilarious.” Another said, “This is crazy.”
Not buying whatever was served online, one X user wrote on the platform, “Where does he pay for them to get removed? I didn’t see anything like that.” Another added, “How is this proof that Drake is paying for propaganda? lol”
Amid the fallout between the two, Drake had withdrawn his friendship by unfollowing James on social media. He is also believed to have intentionally leaked his unreleased songs via DJ Akademiks, in which he talks about James' alleged infidelity. However, the claims made against James were later proven to be false.
