John Cena returned to the Peacemaker season 2 with astonishing hype among fans, celebrating the season 1 of the DC Boss James Gunn created show. In his promotional tour of the show, the veteran WWE star had a chance to chat with the Inside the NBA crew, where he explained his character. “Just uh here reminding everybody Peacemaker's back on Max. I figured I'd come by and stop and talk to you guys,” Cena said.
“This is happening in August. This is happening in August. Peacemaker's coming back. Yeah, we got the whole 11 Street kids gang coming back to Max in August. And uh, season two, season one was a tremendous hit. We have a lot of fans out there. So, very excited about season two,” Cena added.
However, things got a hilarious turn when Ernie Johnson asked the Hollywood action star about his character in the show. For context, he plays the title character, Christopher Smith/ Peacemaker. Johnson referred to Gunn’s description of the character, as he previously called the character “the world's biggest d*uchebag.”
“No, that's that's a misquote,” Cena explained on the show while wearing the classic Peacemaker helmet. “He is a d*uchy broey Captain America. That's the note I got from James Gunn himself,” Cena added.
