LeBron James on spending time with Zhuri James

In a conversation with Steve Nash on the Mind the Game podcast, LeBron opened up about how he intends to spend his off-season with his family. Speaking about Zhuri, he said: “My daughter is heavily into volleyball, so I'll be in a lot of gyms this summer as she's with her travel league team out in California... so to spend a lot of time with her and take some vacation time with the family, get back some of the time that you lose in the eight-, nine-month season and see what this next journey looks like.”
Zhuri joined the City Volleyball Club in 2023 and continues to develop her skills in the sport. Last month, Savannah James shared a glimpse of Zhuri playing volleyball with her teammates over the weekend. Sharing photos of Zhuri as she was inducted into the volleyball team, LeBron wrote on Instagram: “YOU GO GIRL!!!!!! @allthingszhuri LET'S GO BABY Z!! Best of luck this season and GO CRAZY!! #JamesGang.”

On the topic of retirement, James said he has yet to speak with his family about his future career plans. “I haven't had the conversation with my family yet as far as me going forward or whatever the case may be... but we'll see what happens,” he said on the podcast. Also Read: Proud mom Savannah James shares a glimpse of daughter Zhuri James honing her volleyball skills over the weekend LeBron and Savannah James have two older sons as well — Bronny and Bryce.
