Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to Join Caitlin Clark and Sabrina Ionescu in the Three-Point Contest?
In recent weeks, there have been reports emerging which suggest that Klay Thompson could be participating in this year’s three-point competition. Klay was recently asked about the reports and responded saying, “It’d be fun. I don’t know the details, but if the opportunity presents itself that would be cool to be a part of.”
Several reports suggest that the NBA is currently trying to recruit
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Caitlin Clark, and Sabrina Ionescu for the three-point contest. The idea is to pit these shooters against each other the same way Curry and Ionescu went head-to-head during 2023/24’s NBA All-Star Weekend.

Caitlin Clark is yet to show her skills on an NBA court. The NBA All-Star Weekend presents the perfect opportunity for the Indiana Fever star to show off her skills to a larger audience. Ionescu was also asked about coming back to the NBA for another competition. The New York Liberty star responded by saying that she would like to team up with Caitlin Clark if the NBA opts for a 2v2 three-point contest this year. Curry is the all-time leader in three-pointers made and is celebrated for revolutionizing the game. Meanwhile,
Klay Thompson is also said to be one of the greatest shooters to ever grace an NBA court.
