SpaceX Starship

SpaceX's Elon Musk announced that the Starship rocket will make its first flight to Mars by the end of 2026. Human missions may begin by 2029, aiming to establish a permanent colony. An uncrewed spacex starship prototype rocket failed to land safely on Tuesday after a test launch from Boca Chica, Texas, and engineers were investigating, SpaceX said. "We do appear to have lost all the data from the vehicle," SpaceX engineer John Insprucker said in a webcast video of the rocket's flight test. "We're going to have to find out from the team what happened."

SpaceX's Starship, the most powerful rocket ever, completed its sixth test flight, achieving significant milestones despite an aborted booster catch. The spacecraft successfully ignited an engine in orbit and survived a challenging reentry, marking progress towards its role in NASA's Artemis program. SpaceX continues to work towards reusability and future ambitious goals for deep-space missions.

It was the third such landing attempt to end in a fireball after an otherwise successful test flight for the Starship, being developed by SpaceX to carry humans and 100 tons of cargo on future missions to the moon and Mars.
