Ace comedian Raju Srivastava passed away this morning at the age of 58 after battling for his life for 41 days at AIIMS, New Delhi. He was admitted to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack while working out in the gym. From politicians to stand-up comedians, everyone has been sending condolences to the bereaved family.
The actors and politicians have been quite active on their social media platforms talking about his demise and how he had been a guiding force in the Comedy Industry.
Amid all the love showered, Stand up comedian Rohan Joshi's comment on Raju's demise has been surfacing on social media platforms. His negative and insensitive comment has been called out by the netizens and fellow Industry members.
He commented "We haven't lost a thing, whether it was Karma, whether it was the roast or any comic in the news. Raju Srivastav took every opportunity he ever got to shit on newer comics, especially after the new wave of standup started. He went on every fuckall news channel every time he was invited to go shit on an upcoming artform and call it offensive just because he couldn't understand it and new stars were rising. He might have told a few jokes but understood nothing about the spirit of comedy or defending someone's right to say something even if you don't agree. Fuck him and good riddance"
This comment took the internet by storm as the followers slam Rohan for his language towards someone's demise. He later deleted the comment from Atul Khatri's post but the netizens made a note of it. Have a look at their reactions:
