Oscars 2020: South Korean film 'Parasite' wins the Academy Award for the Best Picture

The 92nd Academy Awards kicked off at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with the who’s who of Hollywood slaying the red carpet at their fashionable best. Taking the most coveted golden statue home, Bong Joon Ho’s ‘Parasite’ won the Academy Award for the Best Film, making history as the first South Korean film to do so. 'Parasite' also won the Best International Feature, Best Original Screenplay and Best Director to its account. Standing tall on everyone's expectations, actor Joaquin Phoenix, bagged the Best Actor Award for his stellar performance in the film 'Joker' whereas 'Judy' actress Renee Zellweger took home the much-deserved award in the Best Actress category.
