Jeep India has launched a new Wrangler Willys ‘41 special edition in the Indian market. This edition is limited to just 30 units across India and is available on the top-spec Rubicon variant at a premium of Rs 1.51 lakhs, with an optional accessory pack priced at Rs 4.56 lakhs. Interested customers can book this new edition online or by visiting their nearest dealership, Deliveries are expected to begin soon. This edition is a tribute to the iconic 1941 Willys. And no, it’s not just about a few stickers—this limited-run model, mixes old-school charm with modern off-road tech.
The new Wrangler Willys ‘41 special edition is offered in a new 41 Green colour option and features a 1941 hood decal and military-inspired aesthetics. This launch also marks the debut of the 41 Green Paint Option in the Indian market for the first time. Jeep says this design pays homage to Jeep’s wartime legacy while embracing the comfort and innovation expected of a modern-day icon.
Further, the Willys ’41 Special Edition comes packed with both premium and practical features like power-operated side steps, all-weather floor mats, grab handles for both front and rear passengers, and digital video recorders at the front and back. Jeep’s also throwing in an optional adventure pack that adds a roof carrier with built-in side steps and a Sunrider roof.
In terms of features, the Wrangler Willys 41 edition gets a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Jeep’s new Uconnect 5 OS, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, semi-digital cluster, automatic climate control, off-roading camera with washer, 12-way powered front seats, automatic headlamps and much more. Safety-wise, it gets electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic roll mitigation, a tyre pressure monitor, rear parking sensors and ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control with stop and go, front collision warning with emergency braking assist and more.
Mechanically, the Wrangler Willys edition is powered by the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which puts out 270 hp of power and 400 nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and it also gets Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system. It also gets a Rock mode for the Selec-Trac system, locking front and rear differentials, a front sway bar that’s able to be electronically disconnected, and a 240 Amp alternator.
