Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e electric SUVs: EMI options explained
The BE 6 Pack Three is priced at Rs 26.9 lakh, with an EMI starting at Rs 39,224, the same as the Pack One. Similarly, the XEV 9e Pack Three is priced at Rs 30.5 lakh, with an EMI starting at Rs 45,450, also the same as the Pack One. However, while both Pack 3 customers will pay the same monthly EMI as Pack 1 customers, they will have to pay a balloon amount at the end, which is the price difference between the variants.

The BE 6 will be available in three variants: Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three, with the prices for the mid-spec Pack Two still pending. Similarly, the prices for the Pack 2 of the XEV 9e have not been disclosed yet.
Mahindra BE6, XEV 9e: Test drives and booking dates!
The important dates for the upcoming test drives and bookings are as follows: On 7th Jan 2025, Test Drive Phase 1 will begin in six cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai MMR, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai. The next phase, Test Drive Phase 2 in 15 cities, will start on 14th Jan 2025. Following this, Test Drive Phase 3, covering Pan India, will commence on 7th Feb 2025. The booking process will open on 14th Feb 2025, and deliveries will begin in early Mar 2025, starting with the 79 kWh Pack Three variant.
Mahindra XEV 9e electric SUV top-spec variant: Prices announced
The flagship Mahindra XEV 9e electric SUV, equipped with a 79kWh battery pack and R19 alloy wheels, is priced at Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Like in the case of BE 6, this pricing does not include the cost of the charger or its installation.

Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e: Features
The XEV 9e features a 43-inch triple-screen setup for the driver, infotainment, and passenger, with Theatre Mode syncing all screens, while rear passengers get a Bring Your Own Device option. The BE 6e offers dual 12.3-inch floating screens. Both models include ADAS, a 360-degree camera, an illuminated steering wheel, Mahindra’s Auto-Adjusting HUD Vision, ambient lighting with 16 million colours, and an illuminated infinity roof synced to speed. Besides thwy feature advanced suspension, multiple driving modes, and wireless connectivity, complemented by smart features like cabin pre-cooling, Amazon Alexa, 6 airbags, and a TPMS.
Mahindra BE 6: Powertrain details
The BE 6, built on the INGLO platform, offers 59kWh and 79kWh battery options. It boasts impressive performance with 288 bhp, 380Nm of torque, and a 0-100 kmph sprint in 6.7 seconds. With a 175kW DC fast charger, it charges from 20-80% in just 20 minutes.
Mahindra XEV 9e: Powertrain details
The XEV features a rear-mounted single motor, delivering 228 bhp with the 59 kWh battery and 282 bhp with the 79 kWh battery. The larger battery variant accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 6.8 seconds. It offers three driving modes—Everyday, Range, and Race—alongside a Boost mode for extra power when needed.

The introductory prices exclude the cost of chargers, which need to be purchased separately. Deliveries for the BE 6e are expected to commence in February or March 2025. Mahindra is also offering extended warranties of 10 years/2 lakh km for subsequent batches.
Mahindra BE 6, XEV 93 electric SUVs: Battery and range
The BE 6, priced from Rs 18.90 lakh, offers two battery options: a 59kWh LFP battery and a larger 79 kWh pack - offering an ARAI-certified range of up to 682 km. Similarly, the XEV 9e shares the same platform and battery options, with a larger 79kWh pack providing an MIDC-certified range of 656 km. Both SUVs feature Mahindra’s modular INGLO platform and lifetime battery warranties for early buyers.

Mahindra recently unveiled its highly anticipated born-electric SUVs, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, with introductory prices starting at Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India), respectively.
