NEW DELHI: The dispute in the Singh family is getting murkier with each passing day. Nimmi Singh, mother of Ranbaxy CEO Malvinder Singh, has filed a criminal complaint against her brother-in-law and Max India chairman, Analjit Singh. This time, the complaint has been filed in the court of the additional chief metropolitan magistrate, New Delhi. Nimmi Singh has said that she was filing this complaint as the police had not taken any action on her earlier complaints, treating them as a family dispute.
In her petition, she has said that the court should take cognizance of the complaint, enquire into it and summon the accused and try them as per law.
The criminal complaint filed on July 20 relates to the incident which happened earlier this month, when she was "physically manhandled as she tried to stop the 'unauthorised construction'at 15 Aurangzeb Road." Nimmi Singh, in petition, said Analjit, in an attempt to grab the property at 15 Aurangzeb Road, is carrying out massive unauthorised construction at the disputed property.
