Ahmedabad:
Ajay Patel, chairman of the Gujarat State Co-operative Bank Ltd, has been elected unanimously as the chairman of the Co-operative Bank of India (COBI) New Delhi for the next five years. COBI is the apex body of multi-state urban cooperative banks, national co-operative federations, and land development banks. The election was held at the annual general meeting of COBI on Thursday.
Patel said, “We will work under one umbrella and ensure that the co operative sector contributes maximum in making India a $5 trillion economy. We will realize the cooperative movement dream of home and cooperative minister
