JMM MP Mahua Maji injured in car accident while returning from Maha Kumbh

JMM MP Mahua Maji was injured in Jharkhand's Latehar district when her car hit a parked truck while returning from Maha Kumbh. Maji sustained a wrist fracture and was treated at RIMS-Ranchi. Her family members suffered minor injuries in the accident, which occurred near Hotwag village on NH-75 around 2:30 am.

NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha member Mahua Maji was injured when her car collided with a parked truck on NH-75 near Hotwag village in Jharkhand's Latehar district around 2.30am on Wednesday while returning from Maha Kumbh.
Maji suffered a fracture in her left wrist and was admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi. Her family members in the car sustained minor injuries.

The MP was initially taken to Sadar Hospital for first-aid treatment.
"She was given first-aid and then referred to RIMS-Ranchi for better treatment," said Sadar police station in-charge Dular Chowde.
Maji was traveling back to Ranchi from Prayagraj with her son and daughter-in-law when the accident occurred.
