Andhra Pradesh: Newly-wed doctor couple seeks police protection at Chandragiri

TIRUPATI: A newly-wed doctor couple met Tirupati SP P Parameswara Reddy and sought police protection on Friday.
According to the Chandragiri police, Mohan Krishna who happens to be a doctor by profession got married to Doctor Sushma, a resident of Guntur, about two months ago.
The girl's parents who did not approve the wedding, allegedly kidnapped their own daughter from Mohan Krishna's residence at Mohan Reddy colony at Chandragiri in the late hours on Thursday.
"Sushma's parents along with 30 others broke into our house and kidnapped my wife using force", Mohan Krishna alleged.
Meanwhile, doctor Sushma who managed to escape from her own family's confinement, managed to return back to her husband, and the duo formally met Tirupati SP P Parameswara Reddy and submitted a representation, seeking police protection.
