Advocate held on murder charge
BANGALORE: An advocate has been arrested fir murdering Anjanappa, a mason, three days ago. The accused, Chandrashekar, with the help of Anjanappa’s wife, allegedly killed Anjanappa on Thursday night. The body was found at Kodenahalli Road on Friday morning. There were tyre marks on the body.
According to the police, Anjanappa’s wife was behaving strangely and when interrogated, Ratnamma confessed to the crime.

Ratnamma had an illicit relationship with the advocate, a resident of Yelahanka. “The duo, with the help of two others, strangled Anjanappa and took the body to Kadenahalli. Chandrashekar rode his motorcycle on the body in an attempt to mislead the investigation,’’ a police official said.
Based on Ratnamma’s statement, Chandrashekar was arrested on Sunday. A search is on to trace the two others.
