BANGALORE: For once, opposition parties succeeded in silencing former chief minister
BS Yeddyurappa in the legislative assembly on Thursday. Even Speaker KG Bopaiah was forced to snub Yeddyurappa.
Even as Yeddyurappa tried to play his usual tactic of pre-empting opposition parties, both Congress and JD(S) members counter attacked, urging the Speaker not to allow the former CM to press for his demand.
Yeddyurappa, however, managed to make his submission demanding the House pass a resolution urging the Centre to waive farm loans taken from nationalized banks.
