32-yr-old dies as bike hits stray cattle at night in TT Nagar
Bhopal: A 32-year-old man died after his bike rammed a stray cattle sitting in the dark on the road in TT Nagar locality. Injured severely, he was rushed to a hospital where he died while undergoing treatment for four days on Tuesday night. TT Nagar police said that a case has been registered. Investigation officer ASI Suresh Singh said that deceased Romi Khan hailed from Badi-Bareily town in Raisen district and resided here at Pampapur in TT Nagar for the past 4-5 years. He worked in a private job. He was returning home at night on August 26 on his bike. Around 11.30pm, when he was riding between Rangmahal square and Jawahar Chowk, he couldn’t spot the stray cattle squatting on the road and rammed it. Locals rushed him to a private hospital in Arera Colony from where he was referred to another hospital. His family members rushed to Bhopal and shifted him to a private hospital in MP Nagar where he died while undergoing treatment on Tuesday night. In another casualty in a road accident reported in Misrod locality on Tuesday, an unidentified 40-year-old man, who was knocked down by an unidentified vehicle near a temple on Hoshangabad road late on Monday night, died while undergoing treatment on Tuesday. Misrod police said that a case has been registered and they are trying to ascertain his identity. Investigation officer SI Gopal Singh Chouhan said that the deceased was a pedestrian and was knocked down by an unidentified vehicle. Locals spotted him lying injured and rushed him to AIIMS hospital by an ambulance where he died while undergoing treatment.
