Man arrested for molesting child

Bhopal: A 9-year-old girl was allegedly sexually harassed by a man, who had come for construction work at an under-construction building near the survivor’s home in Piplani locality. The incident took place on June 2 and the accused was identified on Monday.
Sub-inspector Kanchan Rajput said that the survivor, 9, a resident of Piplani locality, is a student of class 4.Her mother is the complainant in the case. She stated that on June 2, her daughter revealed that a man touched her inappropriately while she was playing outside the house.
The SI said that on Monday when the survivor was walking outside her home along with her mother, the girl recognised the accused. He was identified as Brajesh Ahirwar. Later, a sexual harassment case was registered under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act, SI said.
