Man attacked with knife in Ashoka Garden
Bhopal: A 30-year-old man was critically injured after allegedly being attacked with a knife by two scooter-borne miscreants in the Ashoka Garden area late Tuesday night.
Ashoka Garden police said that an attempt to murder case has been registered.
Ashoka Garden SHO Hemant Shrivastava said that Nafees Khan, a resident of Sethi Nagar in Ashoka Garden, has a previous crime record. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
SHO Shrivastava said that the incident occurred around 11:30pm near Parihar Square. Nafees was standing at the spot when a dispute broke out between him and two miscreants riding a scooter. The argument escalated, and the duo initially left the scene after verbally abusing him. Soon, the two returned, armed with a knife, and launched a deadly assault on Nafees. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where police were informed of the attack.
A case of attempted murder was registered against the attackers, later identified as Ayan alias Mogli and Rehan alias Bachha.
