Satna election results 2024 live updates: BJP'S Ganesh Singh wins
NEW DELHI: Ganesh Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party emerged victorious, securing 459,728 votes, which was 84,949 more than his closest rival. Dabbu Siddharth Sukhlal Kushwaha of the Indian National Congress came in second place with 374,779 votes, trailing by 84,949 votes.
Narayan Tripathi of the Bahujan Samaj Party secured the third position with 185,618 votes, trailing the winner by 274,110 votes. The remaining candidates, including independents and representatives from various parties such as the Bahujan Dravida Party, Manviya Bharat Party, Peoples Party of India (Democratic), Bhartiya Shakti Chetna Party, Akhil Bharatiya Hind Kranti Party, Bharatiya Jan Morcha Party, and Nyaydharmsabha, received votes ranging from 5,921 to 915.
The NOTA (None of the Above) option received 2,553 votes, which was 457,175 less than the winning candidate's vote count.
Satna, a prominent Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh. The city has gained additional attention after being selected under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Smart City Mission. The polling date for the Satna Constituency was scheduled for April 26, phase 2 of the Lok Sabha election.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the schedule for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on March 16.
