BHOPAL: An elderly primary school headmaster was thrashed by two youths after he lodged a complaint against them at Ratibad police station on Thursday. Victim Krishna Gopal Srivastava, a resident of Kotra Sultanabad, alleged that he had told police that the duo was threatening him and may target him anytime, but cops ignored it.
The accused, Avadh Narayan and Hemant Tiwari, are farmers in Khakardol village.

They were allegedly involved in power theft from the school where the victim is posted as headmaster. They were stealing electricity for watering their fields. Though Shrivastava had stopped them from stealing power many a times, he finally lodged a complaint against both of them on November 21, expressing fear that the duo can attack him anytime. According to Shrivastava, "They had started threatening me just after I lodged the complaint against them. I had informed ASI Shukla and TI Kanchan Rajput about it, but they kept ignoring it.
