BHUBANESWAR: City-based cultural organization Bhumika paid tribute to four noted personalities of the state for their contribution to the field of art and culture. They are eminent Odissi Guru Gangadhar Pradhan, eminent singer Bhikari Bal and Sikandar Alam, and actor Hemant Das.
The programme was inaugurated by culture minister Debi Prasad Mishra. The Hemnat Das award was conferred on veteran actor Bijay Mohanty and Guru Gangadhar Pradhan award was given to Odissi guru Pitamber Biswal.
