Bajwa: Table action-taken report

Chandigarh: Leader of opposition Partap Bajwa wrote a letter to assembly speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Saturday, urging him to table the action-taken report on the Justice Gurnam Singh report in the Nakodar sacrilege and police firing incident.Bajwa stated that during the afternoon sitting of the first day of budget session, a mention was made regarding the inclusion of the names of four Sikh youths killed in Nakodar police firing.However, as the rules of the conduct of business in the assembly did not permit the same, the request was declined by the chair, he said.tnn
