Bathinda Rural MLA gets bail

Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana high court on Monday ordered the release of AAP MLA, Amit Rattan, who was arrested in February in a corruption case. The order was pronounced in the open court but detailed order wasn’t released till the filling of this report. The case was registered following a complaint alleging that the MLA had demanded a Rs 5 lakh bribe for getting a development grant of Rs 25 lakh released.tNN
