Chandigarh: The Lawrence School, Sanawar, presented a play, ‘With A Li’l Bit Of Luck’, at Zorawar Auditorium, Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, on Wednesday, a visual treat for audience who got lost in the passage of time in a breath-taking voyage to the Edwardian era.
‘With A Li’l Bit Of Luck’ is an adaptation of Alan Jay Lerner’s musical ‘My Fair Lady’ based on George Bernard Shaw’s ‘Pygmalion’. Eighty-seven students participated in the timeless classic, which was a part of Sanawar’s 175th Founder’s celebrations. Siddharth Kak, documentary maker and television producer and an alumnus of the school of the batch of 1963, was the chief guest for the occasion. “I congratulate the students of Sanawar for exhibiting their excellent dramatic prowess in the theatrical arts,” he said. tnn
