YAMUNANAGAR: The district court of additional sessions judge (ASJ) sentenced rigorous life imprisonment to a woman and her aide, for murdering her husband.
Nasrina and Wahid alias Kala, residents of Naiwala village in Yamunanagar district, were involved in an illicit relationship, due to which they killed
Alamgir in the year 2019.
ASJ Rajinder Pal Singh of Yamunanagar district court at Jagadhri sentenced life imprisonment to both the convicts on May 18, 2023, along with a fine of Rs 11,000 each.
In default of the fine payment, the convicts will have to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of two months.
Gafoor of Naiwala, brother of deceased Alamgir, had lodged a case at Bilaspur police station on October 3, 2019, alleging that his brother was missing since September 30, 2019.
Gafoor told police that his brother Alamgir and Nasrina had two children including one daughter (14) and a son (9).
"I came to know that my brother’s wife Nasrina had an illicit relationship with Wahid alias Kala, who had left his wife. Both Nasrina and Wahid conspired and murdered Alamgir on the night when he went missing and hid his body”, alleged Gafoor in a supplementary statement on October 4, 2019.
The police arrested Nasrina, mother of two children on October 4, 2019. Nasrina revealed that she along with Wahid killed her husband Alamgir after which they hid his body in a septic tank of their house.
The cops had recovered the body and arrested Wahid on October 6, 2019, who confessed to committing murder of Alamgir by hitting him with a wooden stick.
