Madras high court judge Justice J Sathya Narayana Prasad dies

CHENNAI: Justice J Sathya Narayana Prasad, a serving judge of Madras high court, passed away late on Tuesday. Court sources said the 56-year-old judge suffered a cardiac arrest and died in Chennai.Born on March 15, 1969 in Thanjavur, Justice Sathya Narayana Prasad is a second generation judge.His father (late) R Jaiprasad retired as a district & sessions judge.Justice Sathya Narayana Prasad did his schooling at Voorhees Higher Secondary School at Vellore and joined B A (History) in Loyola College at Chennai. Thereafter, he went to Delhi and joined M A (History) at University of Delhi and then, he did ther LLB course at Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.He was enrolled as an advocate on Jan 29, 1997 in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
