GUWAHATI: It was a solemn occasion no doubt, but some people were seen doing brisk business at Gauhati University. Around five poster-sellers, mostly from Hajo, a sleepy town 35 km from Guwahati, made good use of the occasion by selling posters of the last doyen of Assam.
The motley group of poster-sellers stood at the gate of the "samadhi sthal" and almost every visitor purchased a poster or two of the departed icon.
