City police arrested two youths on Tuesday for allegedly beaten a 55-year-old man to death in the Satgaon area.

GUWAHATI: City police arrested two youths on Tuesday for allegedly beaten a 55-year-old man to death in the Satgaon area. They arrested were identified as Mojibur Ali (25) and Mohammad Mohar Ali (19), while the deceased was identified as daily-wager Ashok Rishi Dev. On Sunday, Dev's son was engaged in a scuffle with Mojibur and Mohar. When he tried to rescue his son, the duo started beating Ashok Dev, hitting him on head, chest with stones.
