DAVANAGERE: As much as Rs 2.58 lakh was collected during the last six months at a historical temple of Sri Harihareshwara in Harihar town. The temple `hundi' was opened by the temple trustee in the presence of tahsildar N C Venkataraju, in the temple premises on Wednesday, said temple convener, S Krishnamurthy Sreshty. Canara Bank manager S E Sridhar, Sirasthedar S Ravi, Padma, Tanuja, Ganesh Rao and V-P accountant Siddesh and Hemanth were present during counting of the money, temple sources said.
