Hyderabad: Telangana high court's four new judges — Renuka Yara, Nandikonda Narsing Rao, E Tirumala Devi and BR Madhusudhan Rao — were sworn in on Saturday. Acting Chief Justice Sujoy Paul administered the oath in the first court hall, with registrar general S Goverdhan Reddy reading out the appointment letters signed by President Draupadi Murmu.
According to the roster set by Justice Sujoy Paul, the new judges will begin sitting on division benches from Monday. Justice Renuka Yara will serve on the first division bench, headed by Acting CJ Sujoy Paul. The second division bench will include Justice P Sam Koshy and Justice N Narsing Rao. Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili and Justice E Tirumala Devi will form the third division bench, while Justice Moushumi Bhattacharya and Justice B R Madhusudhan Rao will comprise the fourth.
In addition to the division benches, two special benches have been created to address specific categories of cases. One bench will be led by Acting CJ Sujoy Paul and Justice N V Shravan Kumar, while the other will be chaired by Justice T Vinod Kumar and Justice P Sree Sudha.
