nagarjuna is back, this time with the ravishing raveena tandon. usha kiron movies' latest venture akasaveedilo is heading for a release this friday. the film has nagarjuna and raveena in the lead and directed by singeetham srinivasa rao and produced by ramoji rao. a large part of the entertainer has been shot in canada. kota srininivasa rao, avs, giribabu, sudhakar, melkote and master teja are also in the cast.dialogues are by parichuri brothers, music by keeravani, cinematography by s gopal reddy. after the lukewarm response to bava nachadu, let's hope akasaveedilo spells success for nagarjuna! first, it was aamir khan. now, it's anil kapoor to meet the hyderabad cinema audience. the only difference was that aamir visited the city after the release of his film lagaan while anil kapoor was here to promote nayak prior to its release. the charismatic kapoor has already toured mumbai, delhi, bangalore, chennai and jaipur. "director shankar and his team are busy working on the dubbing and special effects aspects in chennai. i am here representing the entire unit," announced anil kapoor as he started his tour in the city. arriving from mumbai at 4.00 pm on saturday evening, he quickly set off to visit theatres where nayak is scheduled for release in the first week of september. his first visit was to ramakrishna theatre at abids. the audience were in for a surprise when the exclusive promos were screened and anil kapoor went on to the stage to greet them. "i am coming to hyderabad exactly after one year. this time i am coming to meet you all with nayak," he said as the audience went into a frenzy. anil kapoor's next stop was sensation cinema in lakdikapul. the crowd that had gathered at the entrance and inside the cinema hall applauded and cheered him all the way. following this, he geared up to face the press at the taj residency. the articulate actor wielded the questions gracefully, punctuating with witty remarks now and then. he posed for pictures for the press and the television channels. anil kapoor will also be touring chandigarh and pune before shooting for his next film badhai ho badhai at hampi with costar shilpa shetty later this month. -sangeetha devi k
