HYDERABAD: The management of Karachi Bakery has appealed to the police for support in retaining their brand name following a protest in Vizag, where members of a religious group demanded a name change.The management clarified: “Karachi Bakery has been based in Hyderabad since 1953. My grandfather, an Indian national, started this business after moving here during the 1947 Partition.We request the CM, DGP, and commissioner of police to support us in preserving ourbrand identity.”Hyderabad police said they had not received a complaint from the bakery but provided security at its Begumpet branch. The bakery also decorated its entrance with the national Tricolour.
