Team ‘RRR’ returns to roaring applause

Hyderabad: ‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli on Friday arrived to a rousing reception at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad after the Oscar win. The director was all ecstatic as he arrived in the city and greeted his fans and supporters saying ‘Jai Hind’. He left the airport with his family, including music director MM Keeravani. Actor Ram Charan Tej also arrived in Delhi today. Fans in huge numbers flocked Indira Gandhi International Airport to welcome the star. “The song just does not belong to us. It belongs to all our countrymen and it has become a song that brought glory to India with the Oscar win. The credit goes to the audience for making it so big. I am very very happy. We are proud of Rajamouli, Keeravani and Chandrabose,” Ram Charan said, while speaking to media at the Delhi airport. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the best original song at the Academy awards ceremony held on March 12. The award was received by music director MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose.
